Description
UNCW does not have a Welcome Center associated with the campus and the current Master Plan has indicated there is a significant need to provide this for the campus in support of prospective students and their parents as well as providing support for the regional community visiting UNCW. The current vision for the project is a nominal 12,000SF facility that will have representation from Admissions, Advancement, and Business Services. This facility will serve as the official first point of contact for prospective students to campus, provide a centralized source of information about the university to help visitors navigate campus, and offer university-specific retail opportunities (i.e. licensed apparel, gifts, etc.).
