Description
Opened in 1978, the natatorium has served athletes, students, and the community for many years. The lap pool features eight lanes and contains 185,000 gallons of water. The dive pool includes two 3-meter and a pair of 1-meter boards and holds 250,000 gallons and descends 17 feet.
The filtration and lighting systems in the natatorium are reaching the end of their effective life cycles and will need to be replaced to maintain operations in the Natatorium. An updated filtration system will improve reliability, and efficiency of water filtration in the Natatorium. Updating the lighting system will improve both energy efficiency and lighting standards for events in the Natatorium. This project will ensure that the natatorium will be able to maintain future operations for years to come.
