Complete the University Scholarship Application by the priority deadline of March 1 (if entering in the summer or fall terms). Students must be admitted in order to access the University Scholarship Application.
Housing
Transfer students are invited, but not required, to live on campus and may submit the on-campus housing application. Allow 3-5 business days after paying your enrollment deposit to apply for on-campus housing.
If you do not wish to live on-campus, resources for finding off-campus housing are available through Off-Campus Student Services.
Visit UNCW
Visit UNCW for an official campus tour if you have not already. If you are not able to physically visit campus, check out our virtual tour offerings.
Find your Community
Explore opportunities for getting involved through the UNCW Campus Activities & Involvement Center (CAIC). CAIC is the student gateway to entertainment, involvement, and leadership on campus and provides opportunities for students to participate actively and grow personally through a variety of experiences.
As a transfer student, you have the option to update your application for up to two consecutive semesters. Updating means that you do not need to reapply or pay the application fee again, but we will re-review your application for your future term. Additional transcripts may be requested if applicable.
Please note that enrollment deposits and orientation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. To request an update to your application term, please use the Update Form in your UNCW Applicant Portal.
If you are not planning to attend UNCW, please withdraw your application. You may do so by completing the Withdraw form within your UNCW Applicant Portal. Completion of this form withdraws your application from the university, rescinding any offer of admission as well.
