After You're Admitted

Next Steps for First-Year Students

Access your UNCW Applicant Portal to review your enrollment checklist and upcoming deadlines.

  • Pay your $100 enrollment deposit by the extended deadline of May 15. This secures your spot in our Fall First-Year class. Once you have submitted your enrollment deposit, you will have access to apply for on-campus housing and register for Orientation.
  • Apply for on-campus Housing by the extended deadline of May 20. First-Year students admitted in the fall semester are required to live in on-campus housing for your first and second academic years, unless you meet one of the exceptions. • Register for your required Orientation by the extended deadline of June 5.
  • Send your Official Final High School Transcript and any Official Records of Advanced Credit (AP, CLEP, IB, all other Credit by Examination, or all Official College Transcripts) by July 15

Within myUNCW, students can also access their UNCW e-mail, calendar, and read about campus news and events. If you have trouble logging in or using the tools in myUNCW, contact the Technology Assistance Center (TAC).
