Below are helpful resources for understanding how your credit may transfer to UNCW.
Transfer Credit Tools
Transfer Equivalency Self Service
Use the Transfer Equivalency Self Service tool to determine how your courses will most likely apply to your intended major at UNCW. You can input any courses you have already completed and view an unofficial audit based on how your credits transfer and apply to your intended major.
Please Note: This tool is compatible only with the Google Chrome browser. If you encounter issues accessing it, try clearing your browsing history and cache, closing the browser window, and reopening it.
Transfer Credit Equivalency ToolUse our equivalency tool to view a list of courses that will most likely transfer to UNCW from your current institution. If you don't see your courses listed, contact the Office of Admissions for information on requesting an unofficial evaluation.
Transfer Credit Resources
- Transfer of Credit Information. Review transfer of credit policies, limits, and other important information.
- Credit by Examination Equivalencies. Review how your AP, CLEP, DANTES, or IB scores may equate to transfer credit.
- How to Run Your Degree Audit. A degree audit, or official evaluation of your transfer credit and remaining degree requirements at UNCW, will be prepared for you after admission.
Prior to admission, any evaluation of transfer credits is unofficial. An official transfer credit evaluation and degree audit will be prepared for students at the point of admission.
If you have attended another college or university since last attending UNCW, you will need to have official transcripts sent to the Office of Admissions as part of the application process. If readmitted, the Office of the Registrar will evaluate your transcripts to determine what credit is transferable and how it will apply toward UNCW degree requirements.
