Dub’s Grocery Run

Dub’s Grocery Run offers students an opportunity to learn how to navigate the campus transit system to get to the grocery store.

Once a month, we offer an event that teaches tips on being a frugal shopper, navigating grocer’s reward programs, and the ins and outs of public transit. The class ends with a trip to the grocery store, so bring your reusable bags and coupons.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

Food security is not just about being able to afford groceries; it’s also about having a way to get to the grocery store. Students without vehicles can have a difficult time accessing food resources near them, and this program aims to help bridge that gap.
