CMS Shuttle

RideMicro by Wave Transportation is operating the Shuttle between Main Campus and the Center for Marine Science (CMS). 

Key Details:

• CMS riders will use RideMicro for trips between Main Campus and CMS

Ride Micro Service Information:

• Operates on-demand, on the hour
• Service hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Ways to Request a Ride:

• Using the RideMicro App by WAVE Transit
• Call 910.861.0661
• Approaching the driver directly and showing your UNCW One Card at Teal Terminal/Burney Loop
  • Free of charge for UNCW students, faculty, and staff with One Card ID

Point-to-Point After Hours Safety Shuttle

Parking & Transportation provides an Evening P2P (point-to-point) shuttle, which allows safe transportation to or from your residence to campus within the 1-mile radius. 

Transportation between off-campus stops is not permitted. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines to ensure the service operate smoothly for all students.

The point-to-point shuttle is operated by Azalea Limousine. Azalea Limousine will use a 20-passenger white van as the UNCW point-to-point shuttle.

To request the point-to-point shuttle within 1-mile radius location:

Download the Passio Go! App

• Sign up using your UNCW email
• Tap the three-bar menu and tap the logo at the bottom, "Evening P2P"
• If you cannot download the Passio Go App, Alternative Transportation can be reached during normal business hours at 910.962.7784 to aid with the app or aid with scheduling a ride

The Evening P2P shuttle service is designated to transport students between on-campus and off-campus locations only. Students may request service:

• From one of the three on-campus stops to an off-campus stop
• From an off-campus stop to one of the three on-campus stops

On-campus pick-up/drop-off locations:

• UNCW Library Parking Lot
• Campus Recreation/Wagoner Hall Shuttle Stop
• Teal Terminal/Burney Loop

Off-campus destinations include:

• Residences or locations on the list of available stops in the app
• UNCW South College Park & Ride Lot
• Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods

 

Summer Shuttles

Note: Summer shuttles operate during Summer Sessions only.

Beginning May 18, 2026, Alternative Transportation will operate an on-campus ADA Shuttle and the CMS/CREST Shuttle by appointment only. Both shuttles will operate Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.–4 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Call 910.859.4522 to schedule your ride at least 30 minutes before your desired pick-up time.

ADA Shuttle: Each ride will start and/or end on campus. This shuttle will run when class is in session from May 18 through August 20.

CMS/CREST Shuttle: This shuttle will provide service to and from the CMS/CREST campus, each ride must start/end at the TEAL Terminal (Main Campus) or the CMS/CREST Campus. This shuttle will operate as an on-demand, on-the-hour service. Passengers must call to schedule a trip that will be available to leave TEAL Terminal at the top of the hour (:00) and will depart from CREST Campus on the 1/2 hour (:30). Please call at least 30 minutes prior to your desired pickup time. This shuttle will run from May 18 through July 23, 2026. The last shuttle leaves CMS at 3:30 pm Monday-Thursday and at 10:30 am on Fridays.
