Physical Security and Access works closely with other campus departments to provide technical support relating to the security systems we maintain. Examples of departments we help support and our relationship with them include:
University Police Department
The University Police Department utilizes both our Access and Camera Management software to ensure a safe campus environment. Our team's goal is to enhance and maintain system operability and usability to ensure our end-user can utilize the software in the most effective way.
One Card Office
The One Card Office controls the printing and distributing of the Campus OneCard. One of the primary functions of the OneCard is to allow access into campus spaces. We work with the OneCard office to diagnose the root cause of access issues.
Project Management
The Project Management department oversees additions and modifications to campus spaces. If the project involves electronic doors or cameras, we assist the project management department by providing device/installation standards, contractors available in the field, and technicians who are available to ensure everything is working correctly before the project is closed.
