The University of North Carolina Wilmington participates in the advanced placement programs of the Educational Testing Service (ETS). The university awards academic credit to students who achieve acceptable scores on exams determined to have a UNC Wilmington course equivalent.
College freshman level course work may be repetitious for students who excel in certain subject areas.
