Enrollment verifications are available to current students through SeaNet. Follow the links to "Student Services & Financial Aid" and then to "Student Records" after signing on.

If you are a former student, please contact registrar@uncw.edu.

Additionally, enrollment verifications (or certification letters) may also be obtained, in person.

Degree Verification

Degree verifications are typically available approximately one month after the last day of exams for a graduating semester (fall, spring, and summer session II).

Please contact the Office of the Registrar at 910.962.3125 or via email if you are a current University of North Carolina Wilmington student, a parent, a local business, or a North Carolina State agency.

Degree verifications can be mailed, faxed, or emailed. However, if a student's record is marked as "Confidential", written authorization from the student is required.

Employer & Background Screening

The National Student Clearinghouse is our authorized agent for providing degree and enrollment verifications. Please contact the National Student Clearinghouse if you are an employer or background screening firm requesting this information.
