Here are the steps you need to take if you do not see your course or school listed.
Are you missing transfer credit? This often happens when your transcript was sent with courses still in progress at your previous institution. If the Office of the Registrar never received an updated transcript showing final grades for your last semester of courses, the credit for any in progress courses was likely removed. To remedy this situation, please have an official transcript sent from the previous institution directly to the UNCW Office of the Registrar, either as an official PDF to registrar@uncw.edu, or by mail to:
Office of the Registrar
UNC Wilmington
601 S. College Rd.
Wilmington, NC 28403-5618
If you are certain you did have your updated official transcript sent, please contact transcripts@uncw.edu from your UNCW email account. Please be sure to include your Student ID # (850), the name of the college from which you are missing credit, and the date you ordered the transcript with any tracking information or order confirmation you have. This may help us to locate your transcript if it is missing.
Finally, it is possible that you did in fact receive transfer credit for all eligible coursework, but it may not appear on your degree audit where you anticipate it. If you think you have transfer credit missing, you may need to check the “General Electives” section of your degree audit in Degree Works. Often courses without good matches in the UNCW catalogue transfer in as 001 elective credit, which by default is listed under the General Electives section. If you find your course there and think it should fulfill a specific degree requirement, please consult with your academic advisor about seeking a Substitution or Waiver.
If you are not a current student, please contact Admissions.
