We offer graduate-level programs for certified teachers looking to improve knowledge and expertise in a given field. Our M.Ed., M.S., add-on licensure and certificate programs are designed for working professionals and feature outstanding faculty and flexible online and blended course formats.
Residency Licensure is an alternative pathway to teaching that allows qualified individuals to begin teaching while completing North Carolina licensure requirements. Graduate certificate programs are offered for high school teachers seeking licensure in English, mathematics, science or social studies (grades 9-12) and teachers seeking ESL licensure in grades K-12. Residency licensure teachers may enroll in our Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs to earn both a graduate degree and complete the requirements for residency licensure.
