The MSA Advisory Board meets twice each academic year and provides input about developments in the practice of accounting, critical skills needed by graduates, and trends in the marketplace for MSA graduates.  The MSA faculty relies on members of the Advisory Board to assess the relevance of curriculum, assist in the development of new initiatives and programs, and direct students to the most promising professional opportunities.  Advisory Board meetings also create opportunities for UNCW to share information with key professional constituents about faculty, students, programs, and important developments at the University.

The UNCW MSA Advisory Board includes partners and experienced staff at major CPA firms and other businesses—many of whom are UNCW graduates—along with recruiters and human resource professionals from selected key employers.  To ensure broad representation and diverse viewpoints, The MSA Advisory Board is organized by firm.
