Blended Learning Full Course
- Course Length: 5.5 Hours for full course; 2 Hours for blended learning course
- Spring 2024 Schedule: Monday, March 18 from 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m.
- Prerequisites: Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible guardian throughout the entirety of the course.
- Purpose: The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program helps participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies in adults, children, and infants. This course teaches skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
Re-certification Course
- Course Length: 2-3 hours
- Spring 2024 Schedule: Saturday, February 24 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Prerequisites: Must possess a current Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (or expired by no more than 30 days); Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible guardian throughout the entirety of the course.
- Purpose: The purpose of a review course is to give individuals the opportunity to review the course content within a formal class setting. The format optimizes a participant's ability to successfully complete the knowledge and skills tests. The responsibility for preparing for the written exam (if requested or required by an employer or state or local regulations) is shared by the instructor and participant.
