Scholarships

To qualify for a MarineQuest need-based scholarship, the student must be able to demonstrate financial need (or at risk status) by one of the following means:

• A letter from your school system verifying the camper's participation in a free or reduced lunch program
• Proof of housing assistance through HUD
• Proof of food stamp assistance
• Health coverage through Medicaid state agency
• A letter from your teacher or guidance counselor classifying student as an "at-risk youth"

If you meet the above-required qualifications and would like to be considered for a need-based program scholarship, please fill out the MarineQuest Scholarship Request Form (no phone inquiries, please) to be put on our Summer 2025 Scholarship list.

Apply for a scholarship

Once a request form is completed student is on the scholarship list for consideration.  Should a scholarship award become available the family will be notified at least 2 weeks before the program start date. 

If selected for a scholarship, participants must immediately apply and follow all instructions provided to them at the time of selection. Failure to follow proper enrollment instructions may result in loss of scholarship.

Please note that all communication regarding scholarships will take place via email only. No phone calls will be returned (scholarship requests made by phone will not be considered as we require all the information and documentation in writing).
