1. Learn About Leave Keeping
The process of reporting your work hours and tracking your leave is called Leave Keeping. Your leave keeping process and rules depends on which type of employee you are.
To identify your Leave Keeping System (SmartTime, ExemptTime or LawTime), navigate to the For Employees section of the Leave Keeping website and use the table to determine your Leave Keeping System.
Then, click on the information tab for your specific leave keeping system and review the resources under the Instructions and the Current Calendar.
Complete the following tasks:
- Click on “Employee Dashboard” and take time to learn more about this portal.
- Review The “How to Complete a Leave Report in the Employee Dashboard” Guide before you complete your 1st Leave Report. Tip: Schedule a meeting with your departmental Leave Keeper to complete your first Leave Report.
- Review the Leave Keeping calendar and holiday calendar. Tip: Print your specific Leave Calendar so you will always submit your leave report on time.
- Review any other instructions and resources listed on the information tab for your Leave Keeping System and reach out to your departmental Leave Keeper if you have any questions.
