Deadlines & How to Apply

First-Year Students

UNCW offers two concrete deadlines for applications. Applications are not reviewed or evaluated until they become complete (the application and all credentials have been received). First-year students can only submit an application using the CommonApp.

Deadlines

Fall Early Action (Non-Binding)- November 1
  • Applicants will receive a decision on or around January 20.
Fall Regular Decision - February 1
  • Applicants will receive a decision on or around March 15.

Notification

Official admission decisions are communicated via US Mail and can be accessed in a student's UNCW Applicant Portal. No admission decision will be given in-person, via E-mail or over the phone.
