Kevin H. Sills, a resident of Apex, NC, was appointed to the UNCW Board of Trustees in July 2022 by the Speaker of the House.

He serves as Secretary and a member of the External Affairs Committee, Educational Planning and Programs Committee, and Executive Committee. Sills was previously appointed by the Governor to the NC Workforce Development Commission (now NCWorks), where he served two years.

Sills holds a Bachelor of Science in biology and medical technology from UNCW.  He is president of Longleaf Pharmaceutical Associates and serves as an expert advisor to small and mid-cap companies. He is a longstanding Chairman of the North Carolina Pharmaceutical Discussion Group.

He is a highly accomplished senior executive with over 32 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and consulting industries.
