Help keep our waterways clean! Our rain garden network treats 322,000 gallons of stormwater EVERY TIME IT RAINS!! We're meeting every third Thursday to weed, mulch, and plant our campus rain gardens to keep them maintained, so they can continue to keep polluted stormwater from entering our waterways.

Check back in the fall for new maintenance events!

April 29 - May 13, 2024. Every May, thousands of students are moving off campus, and with that, comes tons of waste headed to landfill. The Office of Sustainability partners with Student Community Engagement, Housing and Residence Life, and Centro Hispano to divert slightly used clothing, furniture, bedding, and housewares from the trash and into the hands of people who want them. All non-perishable foods go to Hawk's Harvest to help support Seahawks with food insecurities.

Last year we collected, sorted, and donated 9,650 pounds of material over two weeks!

Come help us! We need people to collect materials out in the field. We need people to sort and fold materials in the warehouse. We need ALL the people!
