Shuttle Stops

Parking & Transportation Services provides a shuttle service between UNCW's main campus and the Center for Marine Science located on Masonboro Loop Road.

Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. (operates on a 60-minute schedule)

The last round leaves UNCW station at 6 p.m. and CMS at 6:30 p.m.

*The existing CREST service is operated by Wave Transit using it's shuttle vehicles, which is currently providing too much service as compared to the demand. Please note: UNCW will always ensure the existence of transportation between the main campus and the UNCW Center for Marine Science; however, due to the lower demand, more sustainable and cost-efficient modes of transportation are being considered.

Parking & Transportation provides an Evening P2P (point-to-point) shuttle which allows safe transportation to or from your residence to campus, within the 1-mile radius.

The point-to-point shuttle is operated by Azalea Limousine. Azalea Limousine will use a 20-passenger white van as the UNCW point-to-point shuttle.

Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday 5 p.m.-10 p.m. (last pick up at 9:45 p.m.)

To request the point-to-point shuttle within 1-mile radius location:

• Download the Passio Go! App
• Sign up using your UNCW email
• Tap the three-bar menu and tap the logo at the bottom "Evening P2P"

Customers may request an on-campus pick-up/drop-off at one of the following locations:

• UNCW Library Parking Lot
• Campus Recreation/Wagoner Hall Shuttle Stop
• Teal Terminal/Burney Loop)

Transportation will only be to a residence on the list of available stops, Harris Teeter, UNCW South College Park & Ride Lot or between the on-campus pick up locations listed above. 

Note: Summer shuttles operate during Summer Sessions only.

Beginning May 20, Alternative Transportation will operate an on-campus ADA Shuttle and the CMS/CREST Shuttle by appointment only. Both shuttles will operate Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.–4 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Call 910.859.4522 to schedule your ride at least 30 minutes before your desired pick-up time.

ADA Shuttle: Each ride will start and/or end on campus. This shuttle will run when class is in session from May 20 through August 22.

CMS/CREST Shuttle: This shuttle will provide service to and from the CMS/CREST campus, each ride must start/end at the TEAL Terminal (Main Campus) or the CMS/CREST Campus. This shuttle will operate as an on-demand, on-the-hour service. Passengers must call to schedule a trip that will be available to leave TEAL Terminal at the top of the hour (:00) and will depart from CREST Campus on the 1/2 hour (:30). Please call at least 30 minutes prior to your desired pickup time. This shuttle will run from May 20 through July 24, 2024. The last shuttle leaves CMS at 3:30 pm Monday-Friday and at 10:30 am on Fridays
