Available Workshops

This workshop is ideal for individuals new to Strengths. Facilitators provide context on CliftonStrengths and participants' individual Strengths, and make connections outside the student group or classroom context. After participating in the Strengths 1.0 workshop, participants will be able to:

  • List and describe their Top 5 Strengths
  • Reframe their weaknesses in the context of Strengths
  • Give an example of each of their Top 5 Strengths in action
  • Articulate one benefit of Strengths-based leadership

This workshop will focus on deepening the individual understanding of Strengths. After participating in the Strengths 2.0 workshop, participants will be able to:

  • List and describe the four Strength domains
  • Give an example of how two or more of their Strengths work together
  • Identify how they use their Strengths to:
    • Execute and make things happen
    • Influence others
    • Build and nurture relationships
    • Analyze information and situations

This workshop is perfect for individuals or teams looking to apply the knowledge and benefits of Strengths to groups and teams. Perfect for group retreats! After participating in the Strengths 3.0 workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Give an example of others' Strengths in action
  • Analyze team Strengths to identify challenges and opportunities
  • Identify at least one way to utilize Strengths in delegation or role assignments
  • Discuss how to use Strengths in motivating others

This workshop is perfect for individuals looking to explore ways to utilize Strengths to be successful beyond the college environment. By exploring what you do best, and the environment in which you'd like to work, this workshop provides an excellent reflection on ways to serve society with your gifts, beyond just a specific career path. After participating in the Strengths and Career Exploration Workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify at least one way their Strength(s) demonstrate a skill desired by employers
  • Determine at least five roles or tasks they already do well
  • Synthesize what they do best into a mission statement for desired contributions to society post-graduation
  • Brainstorm possible career options that allow for personal mission

This workshop is a perfect next step for individuals looking to apply CliftonStrengths to their career preparation. After participating in the Strengths and Career Readiness workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify at least one way their Strength(s) demonstrate a skill desired by employers
  • Discuss strategies to incorporate Strengths into professional materials like resumes, LinkedIn profiles, cover letters, etc.
  • Articulate how to utilize Strengths successfully in an interview
  • Strategize use of Strengths to approach professional networking
