Prerequisites are set at the catalog level. Prerequisites are not to be added to sections that differ from the catalog unless they are added to loosen the restriction.
They may be deleted from the section if your department chooses not to allow Banner to enforce prerequisites.
- Access the Course Prerequisites form (SSAPREQ) from SSASECT under the Options menu.
- Next Block to enter the Section Information window.
- Next Block or click the Section Test Score and Prerequisite Restrictions tab to view the Section Test Score and Prerequisite Restrictions window.
- Prerequisite information can be based on Test Code, Test Score, Subject, Course, Level, Grade, and Concurrency.
