The Marketing faculty have diverse teaching and research interests. They hold doctoral degrees from the University of Georgia, Indiana University, Mississippi State University, University of South Carolina, Duke University, George Washington Univeristy, University of Massachusetts, and Virginia Tech.
The faculty is supplemented with several adjunct faculty who provide a wealth of academic and professional experience to the department. Students are encouraged to join the marketing and professional selling fraternity, Pi Sigma Epsilon. With one of the most active chapters in the country, UNCW's PSE students compete at regional and national competitions and organize major events.
