School of Nursing

The School of Nursing’s undergraduate programs provide high-quality education in nursing or clinical research.

Nursing students gain valuable hands-on experience on campus through simulation labs and off campus at clinical sites. Clinical research students intern on-site in a clinical research setting such as a contract research organization (CRO).

Three Pathways to a BSN

Our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program has three degree program completion options.

The prelicensure program is for nursing students looking to enter the nursing field for the first time. Graduates are prepared to sit for the National Counsel Licensure Examination for Registered Nurse (NCLEX). 

Our highly regarded RN-BSN option is ideal for licensed registered nurses who have earned an associate degree or diploma and wish to advance their careers by earning a BSN. This program is offered in an online format.

If you have a bachelor's degree and want to transition into nursing, our Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program offers a fast-track to your new career in only four semesters. This intensive on-campus program enables students to gain essential nursing competencies and expertise.

A Career in Clinical Research

Our Bachelor of Science in Clinical Research program combines online coursework with in-person internships that will help you gain practical experience in a clinical research setting.

You will learn the science, regulatory, and business aspects of developing new therapies to treat illness and improve quality of life.

Or, if you are majoring in business, public health, science, math, nursing or statistics, consider our clinical research minor, which provides a fundamental understanding of clinical research principles.

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

B.S. in Clinical Research Clinical research is the process by which new therapies are tested in clinical studies prior to approval. BSN, Prelicensure Our prelicensure program will prepare you to practice family-centered, professional nursing in a variety of health care settings. Well-qualified nurses are in high demand regionally and nationally. Graduates will contribute toward meeting the wide-ranging health care needs of the region, state, and the larger community.
