The College of Health and Human Services consists of three professional schools: School of Health and Applied Human Sciences, School of Nursing and School of Social Work.
We offer nationally accredited undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing, clinical research and product development, social work, athletic training, exercise science, gerontology, public health, physical education and health, recreation therapy, respiratory therapy and tourism, recreation and sport.
Through in-class and field experiences, our students learn to develop and apply knowledge regarding health, wellness and human needs. Our graduates are prepared professionals who work in interprofessional teams to address real-life community problems

We educate and empower nursing and clinical research professionals to advance the health of diverse individuals and communities, through excellence in teaching, practice, research, and scholarly activity.
Our graduates help people discover and build on their own resources and strengths as well as the resources and strengths of their environment to meet the challenges of poverty, discrimination, health and mental health issues, and other difficult life situations.
