Disciplinary action is at the discretion of the HEBF staff and work study guidelines and may be modified during membership of the Health Equity Fellowship Bonner Program. Additional measures may be taken on a case-by-case basis.
If a conduct infraction is suspected, staff will send an email to the Fellow to arrange a meeting to discuss accountability and a corrective action plan. As applicable, the corrective action plan will be developed in partnership with the fellow and site supervisor. The goal is to support fellows in their academic and professional development and provide the support needed for success.
The policy is subject to change to best meet the ends of the fellows and program.
Fellows accepted into the program are emailed this policy to sign, showing their commitment to the Fellowship and understanding of the policy.
