Plan & Curriculum Mapping

General Education is assessed at UNCW on a three-year cycle. During those three years, all eight of the University's Learning Goals are assessed using student work products collected from University Studies courses.

Each component of University Studies has Student Learning Outcomes that establish the link between the eight University Learning Goals and the University Studies curriculum. Each of the 15 components of University Studies has common SLOs that courses approved for the curriculum must address. These SLOs are mapped to the University Learning Goals.
