Competitive Sports

Intramural Sports at UNCW are composed of team, individual, and special event activities that are designed to provide engaging opportunities for everyone. Intramural Sports are open to students (upon payment of student recreation fees), faculty, and staff regardless of skill level.

The Adaptive Series

An inclusive drop-in style program of sports that are open to anyone to participate in regardless of skill or (dis)ability. Activities include Wheelchair Pickleball, Goal Ball, Wheelchair Tennis, Wheelchair Rugby, and Wheelchair Basketball. Find details for upcoming Adaptive Series events on our WaveLink!

Registration

Registration for Intramural Sports takes place online through imleagues.com/uncw. If you are looking to play an Intramural Sport but don't have enough people for a team, sign up as a "free agent." Activity rules will be posted with their respective sport in IMLeagues.

  • Monday-Friday: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Shoreline Sports Complex: (Lights until 11:00pm)

  • Pavilion (Check Out Equipment):
    • Monday-Saturday: 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
    • Sunday: 1 p.m. - 9 p.m.

UNCW Disc Golf Course Fall 2025 Hours:

  • Open Daily from Dawn until Dusk
