Social Media
Social media can be a great way to get familiar with the Queer community. A lot of information and quick how-to's are out there about how to be an ally, where to learn more about sexuality and sexual orientation, and how to get more knowledge about Queer organizations and rights. Social media also defines and breaks down tough subjects that involve LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Facebook often has groups or organizations that can be joined for Queer allies, Queer individuals and Queer support groups. Check out some of the ones below to get a feel for what's out there.
Memes are a great way to learn information fast. The Queer community often uses memes and social media like Instagram to educate others quickly and easily.
