The Greek Standards & Assessment Program (GSAP) identifies seven key categories for excellence, (1) Scholarship, (2) Chapter Management, (3) Service & Philanthropy, (4) Recruitment, Retention and Belonging, (5) Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility, (6) Health & Wellness / Risk Management, and (7) UNCW Community Involvement.
Process
Chapters are provided a list of action steps in each category that they can choose to achieve.
Chapter submit documentation demonstrating their achievements.
Points are awarded for each action item achieved.
Points are totaled to place chapters into recognition levels: Gold, Silver, Bronze and Needs Improvement.
Timeline
GSAP runs on a calendar year cycle, starting in January and ending in November. Materials are submitted throughout the year and the program culminates with year-in-review presentations occurring in late November.
January: GSAP packets distributed and reviewed with presidents
Monthly: Chapter coach check-ins with presidents
November: GSAP Presentations
December/January: Awards and Recognition Celebration
