The Greek Standards & Assessment Program (GSAP) is used to help fraternity and sorority chapters at the University of North Carolina Wilmington excel in their chapter and member experience. It provides a shared foundation for the FSL experience at UNCW.
About
The Greek Standards & Assessment Program (GSAP) identifies six key categories for excellence, (1) Chapter Management, (2) Scholarship, (3) Philanthropy & Service, (4) Community, (5) Retention & Belonging, (6) Member Development & Safety.
Evaluation
- Chapters are provided a list of action steps in each category that they are expected to achieve.
- After completing all the basic expectations, chapters can choose to go beyond expectations to achieve additional levels of recognition.
- Chapters communicate their achievements through monthly meetings with their assigned chapter coach and a final presentation at the end of the calendar year.
- Chapters are awarded Bronze (meets basic expectations), Silver, or Gold status depending on their level of achievement.
