ACE your UNCW experience and become a member of ACE! Programmers in Training, or PIT Crew, is the ACE new member program focused on leadership and programming. Whether you want to enhance your marketing skills or learn how to coordinate fun events on campus, ACE is for you to grow in your skills - and have fun while doing it! As a general body member, you will gain first-hand experience in supporting the ACE Directors in planning events and providing student input on the work that we do as UNCW's student-led activities board. Many general body members love their experience so much that they pursue ACE leadership positions in the future - including one of the six Director positions, Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Membership, or even the President!

The ACE Partnership Program (APP) provides assistance to other Registered Student Organizations on event planning to further meet the needs and interest of the UNCW student body. UNCW Registered Student Organizations can complete the Partnership Program request.

General criteria for the ACE Partnership Requests include:

  • Requests must be a UNCW Registered Student Organization.
  • A partnership in this case is defined as two organizations each working together to accomplish a common goal. In order for a partnership to exist, both sides must put in work and there must be a there must be a clear goal of the partnership.
  • There must be a clear benefit to UNCW as a whole in the partnership. Events need to serve the student body. If education is requested, the organization must have a clear benefit to the UNCW campus.
  • Your request must be for an actual partnership and not just a program request. If you wish to request a program, please fill out ACE's "Event or Program Suggestion Form" on Wavelink.
  • All partnership events must be open and free for UNCW students to attend
