Campus Programs & Announcements

UNCW's most recognizable tradition, Beach Blast, welcomes new Seahawks to our coastal community with a full day at the beach to celebrate the new academic year right before the first day of classes! UNCW Seahawks head to Wrightsville Beach for a day of fun in the sun. Over 4,000+ students attend each year for this university tradition like no other!

UNCW students will be provided more information about the event including transportation, best practices for health, safety, and wellbeing, and rules and regulations set forth by the Town of Wrightsville Beach to ensure we treat our beach with care and respect. This information will be sent directly to UNCW emails.

Questions about Beach Blast can be directed to Campus Activities & Programs at clprograms@uncw.edu.
