Our Marketing and Communications team at Cameron School of Business enthusiastically supports and promotes our people, programs, news, events, initiatives and more. We're here to help promote all things Cameron and look forward to working with you!
Project Submissions & timelines
- Depending on the project, requests should be submitted one to two weeks in advance by completing the Marketing & Communications Request Form.
- Be as detailed as possible, if more information is required, our Web Developer and Marketing Coordinator will follow-up with you.
- Once a project request is received, our team will brainstorm, design, create a draft(s) and send a proof for review. The timeline for delivery of the final product varies. Proofing by multiple parties and subsequent edits may delay final production.
- If printing of the final product is needed, please let us know as we will need to work with the UNCW Print Shop. Production times vary based on the their schedule.
OUR Involvement & Style Guides
CSB complies with the UNCW Office of University Relations (OUR) protocols. All marketing materials intended for external audiences (outside of CSB) must be submitted to OUR for review. OUR requires seven to fifteen days for review. Marketing materials intended for internal CSB audiences do not require OUR approval.
- CSB must follow the UNCW’s Brand Identity Guide (BIG) for all written and visual communications, including logo usage and branding.
- The CSB logo, brand assets and guidelines for usage are available upon request. To request the files and usage information, please send our team an email.
- Use of the UNCW logo must be approved by OUR.
- CSB Marketing and Communications uses AP Style, which is the industry standard.

TV Displays in Cameron & Congdon
The primary purpose of digital signage in Cameron and Congdon Hall is to inform students, faculty, staff and visitors about announcements, services, resources and events. Signage requests will be reviewed and displayed at the discretion of our Marketing Coordinator based on the appropriateness and needs of the Cameron School of Business.
If submitting a request for digital signage to be displayed that our team didn't create, here are few guidelines to reference:
- Graphics must be 1920 width x 1080 height or a 16:9 ratio. Files should be saved as a JPG, PNG or PDF file- PowerPoint files do not work and will not be accepted.
- Less is more: Make sure to include only valuable information such as date, time and location of an event. Don't overcrowd by displaying information/graphics that aren't vital.
- Leave enough outside space: Because your design will be shown on a screen, it’s important to leave some “safe space” around the edge. This prevents the edges of your content from getting cut-off.
