Banner Faculty Load and Compensation (FLAC)

Banner FLAC (Faculty Load and Compensation) bridges the gap between Banner modules (HR / Finance / Student / Payroll) to deliver a comprehensive path to assigning and compensating (as applicable) faculty workload.

UNCW uses FLAC to capture for-credit course teaching assignments for all employees assigned to a course (with the exception of Graduate Students), as well as all other non-instructional assignments for EHRA employees in Academic Affairs.

Faculty/EHRA in AA

Employees being paid via FLAC must acknowledge their assignment in order to receive payment.

Individuals being paid via FLAC should refer all questions to the hiring department's FLAC Manager/Business Officer.

Staff

FLAC training should only be requested for those in Academic Affairs who will be actively entering FLAC assignments as part of their full-time duties.

FLAC preparers should refer all questions to the hiring department's FLAC Manager/Business Officer.
