Students in the MSA program have the opportunity to apply for graduate assistantships. Graduate assistantships are jobs on campus that pay a flat monthly stipend.

Opportunities are available in the Cameron School of Business and in other departments on the UNCW campus.

  • The UNCW Graduate School sends assistantship opportunities to graduate students via e-mail
  • MSA students receive application instructions for Cameron School of Business assistantships in their admissions packet

Assistantships in the Cameron School of Business are most commonly 10 hours/week and pay $6,000 dollars, spread evenly across the fall and spring semesters. Students are assigned to a department in the Cameron School of Business based on skills highlighted on the students' resume and assistantship application. Some examples of assistantship duties are:

  • Assisting faculty with grading
