Family members and guests must be added as a "Guest" in the orientation registration system in order to be registered for the guest orientation. The family and guest orientation program is optional.
To add a guest during registration:
- Log in to your UNCW Applicant Portal
- Find and select the item on your enrollment checklist that requires you to register for orientation.
- Select the event you would like to attend and fill out the registration form.
- When completing the registration form, there is a section labeled "My Guest" where you can add your guest.
- Below that, you will be able to add your guest's information and any accommodations they may need.
- Once registered, a payment activity will be added to your enrollment checklist. Immediate payment is not required. However, orientation registration is not complete and your spot is not secured until payment is received. We accept MasterCard or Visa. Please note that there will be a separate payment activity added to your enrollment checklist for your guest fees.
- Reminder e-mails will be sent out periodically until payment is received.
- Once the registration form is completed and payment activity submitted, students and registered guests will receive a payment confirmation e-mail.
Adding a guest AFTER submitting your registration:
Many family members and guests decide they want to attend orientation after the student has already registered. Adding a family member or guest is easy! To add or remove a guest after completing your orientation registration, email transitions@uncw.edu. Please include the student name, 850# and name of guest(s) to be added.
