Family & Guest Orientation

The cost of guest orientation includes breakfast and lunch on day one and day two, a tote bag, credit card fees, printed materials, on-campus parking, shuttle services, and a Wilmington Guide.

• Guest Fee: $100 per guest
• Guest Overnight Accommodations: $45 per guest

Please note that overnight accommodations are not available for guests during August orientation.

Family members and guests must be added as a "Guest" in the orientation registration system in order to be registered for the guest orientation.

• Log-in to the student orientation registration system.
• Click the 3 lines in the top right corner and select "My Reservation".
• Select "Guests" on the left and follow the steps to add your guest(s).

Guests can be added in the orientation registration system up until 5 days before the student's orientation date. Guests and students must attend orientation on the same date.

Parking

A parking pass will be required for all cars parked on campus. Those attending orientation may park in the lots indicated on the pass. Please print and display the parking pass on the driver's side of the dashboard. Failure to display the parking permit will result in a parking violation. You will receive a parking pass with your Event Reminder email one week prior to your orientation session. 

Early Arrival (Pre-Event Accommodation) 

Check-in for Early Arrival will be held in Loggerhead Hall from 7-9 p.m.
Students and guests have the option to stay on campus the night prior to their June orientation session for an additional $45 per person. Students and guests can register for Early Arrival by selecting the "Pre-Event Accommodation" under My Reservation in their orientation registration system. Students will have Early Arrival activities at 9 p.m.

The Division of Student Affairs consists of 14 departments, each of which is responsible for providing a variety of student support, service, and educational programs which are accessible to all members of the university community.
