Art History Program Overview

Dynamic & Diverse Pathway

The art history major offers courses that cover the entire swath of history and actively seeks to teach you about canonical and noncanonical influences through the ages.

Multidisciplinary Approach

This major provides a dynamic and diverse pathway for studying the arts and the historical contexts in which they were produced.

Art history is a truly multidisciplinary major, one where you learn and work within the tenets of history, philosophy, sociology, psychology and anthropology, among others.
