Education Learning Community Incoming Freshmen are invited to join 20-25 other first year pre-education majors in our Education Learning Community. You’ll make lifelong friendships and get a jump start in your education classes and enrichment experiences. VISIT the ELC

Watson Student Leaders Watson Student Leaders are passionate about the teaching profession. Members serve as ambassadors at recruitment events, volunteer on campus and in the community, and host educational and social functions for aspiring educators and the broader community. JOIN WSL

Seahawk Esports Club UNCW’s growing Esports club brings together a community to learn, play and teach electronic sports. With more than 500 members, the club fields nationally-competitive teams, hosts campus and community events, and establishes connections to the broader Esports community. JOIN Esports

Kappa Delta Pi KDP is an international honor society, dedicated to scholarship and excellence in education. Members of UNCW’s Alpha Alpha Pi chapter participate in professional development seminars, provide service to the campus and community, and promote academic excellence and research related to education. SCEC SCEC is a student chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children, an international professional organization. SCEC’s goals include promoting awareness of exceptionalities; providing information about characteristics, assessment, and interventions available for persons with various exceptionalities; and fostering understanding and acceptance of individuals with exceptionalities. SNCAE UNCW’s chapter of the Student North Carolina Association of Educators helps future teachers learn to advocate for themselves and their students. All education majors and any students involved with teaching are invited to join! Learn More

Watson LGBTQ + Student Circle The Watson LGBTQ+ Student Circle is an affinity group for LGBTQ+ students associated with the field of education. Their goals include advocacy, providing support for one another, and enriching the lives of LGBTQ+ future educators. Learn More

Future Educators of Color The goal of the Future Educators of Color is to build and explore community, advocacy, and activism within and outside the WCE. They hope to help elevate the voices of color in classrooms, schools, and across campus through various events that promote awareness and open conversations. Learn More
