Engineering 2+2 and 3+2 students are eligible for the same scholarship opportunities as other UNCW students. Local chapters of various professional engineering societies also offer funding specifically for students in our program.
On average, it costs almost $2,000 less in tuition and fees for full-time (12+ credit hours), in-state, on campus students to attend UNCW than NC State. For nonresidents of North Carolina, this cost difference increases.
Students in the NC State Engineering 2+2 Transfer Program are eligible for the same UNCW scholarships as other UNCW students. Students should apply using the UNCW scholarship application which opens annually on December 1. The following scholarship opportunities are specifically available to UNCW 2+2 engineering students:
On occasion, professional engineering societies in the Wilmington area will offer various scholarships and the Program Director will notify students of these opportunities via email as they become available. Upon acceptance for transfer admission to NC State, 2+2 students are also eligible for NC State College of Engineering Transfer Scholarships.
