Your donation may be used to directly support student filmmaking and scholarship in the following ways:

• To purchase the film production equipment students use to practice motion picture craft, express themselves, and develop their creative voices.
• To support applied learning programs and publications such as Film Matters.
• To support internships that provide students access to mentors, training, and vocational experience in Los Angeles, New York, and Europe.
• To support student-programmed film series.
• To fund student scholarships.

Endowments

The Film Studies Department is developing a nationally recognized program that plays a vital role in the North Carolina film community and industry. Individuals, corporations, and foundations can support this effort by helping us to establish an endowed fund to provide for the purchase and maintenance of filmmaking equipment and other essential resources.
