Community Engagement & Health Equity

The College of Health and Human Services Hall of Fame recognizes and celebrates the outstanding achievements, leadership, and service of distinguished alumni who have graduated from CHHS or programs that are now included within CHHS.

This honor serves to highlight the enduring impact our graduates have made in their communities and chosen professions. By showcasing their accomplishments, the CHHS Hall of Fame aims to inspire current and future students, strengthen alumni engagement, and reinforce the college’s commitment to excellence in education, research, and community service. 

Important Dates
  • Nominations due: November 15, 2026
  • Inductees notified: December 15th of each year
  • 2026 Recognition ceremony: Week of March 23, in conjunction with Health and Human Services Week
Eligibility Requirements

Individuals must be graduates of CHHS or programs currently located within CHHS. Nominees should have made important contributions to the advancement of their chosen professional field of endeavor, to the college, and/or their community/society.  Individuals who are currently employed within CHHS are not eligible for consideration until one year after leaving their position. Individuals must either be nominated by another person or self-nominate.

Nominations will be reviewed by the Community Engagement and Impact Advisory Council with support from the CHHS Advisory Council, and final selections will be made by the Dean.
