Assessment Technologies
Assessment technologies are used to collect and maintain evidence for assessment
IDEA Course Evaluations
UNCW regularly administers course evaluations and provides aggregate reports to faculty and administration. Students give feedback on teaching and learning based on their direct course experience through IDEA in a secure reporting portal.
Watermark Faculty Success
This is a secure, web-based activity reporting system that allows faculty and staff to track their teaching, research, scholarship, accomplishments, and service activity. This information supports core university processes, serves as the repository of all faculty & staff credentials, research and scholarship activities, and provides a centralized networking and collaboration tool to promote creativity and innovation.
WFS resources, training guides, and more information can be found at: Watermark Faculty Success Resources (faculty and staff only).
Taskstream AMS
Taskstream AMS manages and stores program and unit-level assessment plans, as well as reports that are aligned with the university's mission and strategic priorities. Academic and administrative units use this tool to access their individual assessment plans and reports.
Qualtrics
Qualtrics is a digital survey tool available to all UNCW faculty, staff and students. If you are having trouble accessing your survey account or need assistance with survey design and administration, please submit a request through the ITS Technology Assistance Center.
