Call for nominations have been issued for the 2017 Hoggard Medal of Achievement and Distinguished Faculty Scholar awards with deadlines in late-February.  The Hoggard Medal (through the generosity of the late Dr. John T. Hoggard) is awarded to a graduating senior who has shown the most improvement, and the Distinguished Faculty Scholar recognizes all aspects of excellence in scholarship, research, and more.  For further information on each, click on the award name above.
Jackson Ertel and Family

UNCW freshman Jackson Ertel has a new place to call home, thanks to Step Up For Soldiers.  Ertel, his wife, Laura, and their infant, Liam, were selected as the first family to live in the Edward Kramer House, a Wilmington-area home designated for a veteran pursuing a college degree.
