International Student Orientation

August 16th - 17th 2024

We're excited to welcome you to the UNCW campus. Join us for the Mandatory International Student Orientation to meet the other UNCW international students and learn about immigration regulations, campus rules, student health & wellness as well as tour our beautiful campus, and learn how to adjust to U.S. culture. 

Registration:

All International students register for International Student Orientation in the International Student Pre-Arrival Checklist in Canvas. Please contact international@uncw.edu for any questions.

Other Required Orientations

The following degree seeking international students are required to also attend a 2nd program specific orientation along with the International Student Orientation:

Enrollment deposit is due prior to registering for orientation.

First-Year Orientation
August 18th - 19th 2024

F-1 visa, degree seeking first-year students are also required to pre-register and attend First-Year Orientation.

Transfer Orientation
August 15th 2024*

Online Orientation available for transfer students

F-1 visa, degree seeking transfer students are also required to pre-register and attend Transfer Orientation (including dual degree international student programs TABSA, Chongqing, and MARMARA).

Graduate Students

F-1 visa, Graduate Students may be required to attend a departmental orientation. Confirm with your graduate program coordinator.
