Ways to Get Involved in the UNCWorld
Ambassadors are study abroad returnees who are passionate about their education abroad experiences and are willing to share their insights and expertise with fellow students. Ambassadors assist the Office of Education Abroad with promoting study abroad and preparing future participants through email and events including the Study Abroad Fair, pre-departure orientation, classroom presentations, individual meetings and other student panel/guest speaker events.
Upon completion of their program abroad, study abroad returnees will be invited to apply to the Ambassador Program through their UNCW Education Abroad Portal.

Requirements
- Attend Ambassador training program
- Commit to participating in a minimum of 4 events throughout the academic year
- Maintain good academic standing
- Be available for two consecutive semesters

International Student Organization (ISO)

UNCW's annual Intercultural Festival is a celebration of world cultures featuring music and dance, food, art and informational booth representing more than 25 countries.
A week of celebration each year in mid-November, IEW is a joint initiative between the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education that was launched in 2000 as an effort to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and to attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences in the United States.
