Previous Capital Projects

UNCW completed the process of building four new residence halls (Pelican, Sandpiper, Loggerhead, and Terrapin). These halls offer 430,000 square-feet of residential, commercial and academic spaces. 

UNCW opened Shore Dining Hall in October of 2021. The Shore is 20,000+ square-feet facility which is part of a larger effort to elevate the student experience. 

Veterans Hall, a 190,000+ square-foot academic building, is the cap to the Health and Human Services Quad. Veterans Hall was completed in August of 2020.

Following damage suffered in Hurricane Florence, Dobo hall was not only repaired, but reinvented.
