Assessment Locations
Storm Surge Protectors official assessment sites have been selected using NOAA’s digital coast tool, which allows us to determine what sites are frequently inundated by storm surge and flood waters during storm events.
Storm Surge Protectors Site Map
Storm Surge Protectors aims to add new sites each year, to expand the reach of this citizen science project. If you have sites that you are interested in adding to the official list of Storm Surge Protectors assessment sites, please email the Coastal Citizen Science Ambassador with your inquiries.

Visiting The Storm Surge Protectors Field Sites
