The Sherman Hayes Gallery is located on the first floor of UNCW Library near TAC. Consisting of a large art wall, complete with professional-grade track lighting and open gallery space for sculpture and other three-dimensional items, this is Randall’s main exhibit and event location.
The Sherman Hayes Gallery is open whenever UNCW Library is open. Receptions or other events connected to exhibits are typically held on the opening night of each show between 6-8 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.

The third floor features "The Lookout," a space with expansive windows overlooking the campus, adorned with a hand-painted mural by UNCW alumna Carleigh Sion. Additionally, there's a 75-person event space that can be configured for banquets, seminars, or lectures. Discovery Hall also offers various study environments, from quiet nooks to collaborative workstations, catering to diverse student needs.
